Install & activate your eSIM

Pick your device, then follow the steps. The whole thing takes about 2 minutes.

Install the eSIM

  1. Step 1

    Connect to Wi-Fi

    Before you start, make sure your iPhone is on a stable Wi-Fi or cellular network — the eSIM profile downloads from your carrier over the internet.

  2. Step 2

    Open Settings → Cellular

    Open the Settings app, then scroll to Cellular (or Mobile Data on some regions).

  3. Step 3

    Tap “Add eSIM” → “Use QR Code”

    Choose “Add eSIM”, then pick “Use QR Code”. iOS will open the camera. Scan the QR image from your 99esim purchase email.

  4. Step 4

    Tap “Continue” → “Add Cellular Plan”

    iOS auto-detects the 99esim carrier profile. Tap Continue to let the profile download — it usually takes 15–30 seconds.

  5. Step 5

    Label the plan “Travel”

    Give the eSIM a name so you can tell it apart from your home SIM. “Travel” or the destination country works well.
